On December 8th, AKL held our annual holiday luncheon at Jack Stack Barbecue in Kansas City. It was a terrific event, with over 60 alumni and active members attending! During this luncheon, we covered a variety of topics.
To start us off, Mark Mears introduced AKL's new home as well as the future plans for the house. Outgoing Chapter President, Mike McDermott, highlighted a few events we held this year, such as our philanthropy, 'These Hands Don't Hurt', and our fundraiser, 'Pancakes for Pancreatic Cancer'. He also handed the microphone off to incoming Chapter President, Braden Hoffman, who discussed upcoming events for the spring 2024 semester.
